Chongqing Hologram Fragment
"The exhibition attempts to reorganise the decentralised network covering geographical information from different dimensions, offline with Chongqing as the dispersal node."
Hologram Fragments consists of six fragments: “Geography”, “Illusion”, “Form”, “Ecology”, “Space” and “Future Geomancy”, “Space” and “Future Geomancy”, presenting an exploration of digital virtual art practices.
“Chongqing Hologram Fragments” gathers creators/groups from architects, landscape designers, transport designers, digital media designers, sculpture artists, eco-artists, technology art groups, open-source hardware enterprises and other disciplines and industry backgrounds, to establish a common standard prototype for diversified art concepts and media languages in the meta-universe space. In the space of meta-universe, we will establish a common standard for diversified art concepts and media languages, and form an effective field for cross-disciplinary, cross-regional and cross-media dialogue.
This exhibition is a starting point for the “Digital Reverb” project, which aims to build a model for a regular science and technology art exhibition in the social scene of Southwest China based on the framework of meta-universe technology standards. Therefore, we have chosen to present the online exhibition in “META ART STATION”, which is linked to the offline exhibition, in order to deeply explore the significance of digital curation, spatial transformation, and the transformation of the works between the physical and virtual forms.
