ToF AR Virtual Jewelry UGC

"From Photoshop layers to AR filters, we use virtual wearables to connect the digital world to the physical."

From Photoshop layer overlays to AR filters, we connect the digital world with the physical world through virtual wearables. At the same time, it extends from the development technology behind it to the aesthetic, fashion and cultural production of the virtual world.

In November 2022, Yu Tongzhou and Raiden launched the virtual jewellery APP “Raiden, OK!”, which challenges the traditional non-real-time creation process of virtual jewellery, i.e. concept-modelling-synthesis, with the idea of development. No matter whether the participants have technical foundation or not, they can understand and master how to use Unity software to carry out the whole process of the development of an art app, and feel the synergy between art and technology through this activity.

Virtual Jewelry UGC

How does a computer recognize faces? Can I also easily make my own 3D scans? Today’s screen is a flat piece, what will the screen of the future be like? Is it a hologram? The answer to all of this can be seen in the function of Sony ToF AR: today’s mobile phones can not only take reality as a two-dimensional photo, but can record and display reality in “three dimensions”. Virtual jewelry UGC is a virtual drawing tool built on the basis of this 3D recognition.
