Do Not Black Out
“Do Not Black Out aims to explore the present and future art production in a trans-media context.”
Its theme draws out the necessary property of electricity in work with the personification and humorous slogan, consciously shifting the focus to the artwork itself. All the artists in the exhibition have engaged in dialogue and performance from a multi-dimensional perspective, exploring the boundaries between humans and nature, human-machine control and decentralization, ways of thinking technology, and the physical transformation of virtual and real space. Works span across different disciplines and art forms such as biology, ecology, society, networks, data, games, and VR.
Raiden INST is committed to developing a sustainable art environment focused on sci-tech art by incubating artistic innovation and connecting international artists. The exhibition includes the top 20 works of the Emerging Sci-tech Artist Awards, pioneering new media artists, and a NFT interactive area.
When talking about emergence, efficiency, and high-pace, we should not forget our true intention. Instead, we should juxtapose body, spirit, nature, and sci-tech together, achieving the balance of interdependent mutualism.

The exhibition explored the boundary and connection between technology and art through four aspects, in which the audience is immersed and senses are connected. “Do Not Black Out” is an order from the superior to the subordinate, as well as an instruction from man-made objects to human beings. It is also a symbol of young people’s firm and recognition of their own will.
<The Power Of Nature>
The exhibition starts from the perspective of nature, from macroscopic landscape to microscopic minerals and metals, people get inspiration and revelation from different dimensions of nature and apply them to the expression of concrete consciousness.
<The Power of Human>
If we go back to the subject that focuses on the human being, we can see another thread of technology that connects the physical experience of the individual on the one hand and the social reality on the other.
<The Power Of Machine>
This section of the exhibition explores the topic of the future of machines as primary productive forces, their own properties and their intertwining with human senses.
<Online Entrance>
Taking advantage of the on-site nature of the Ming Contemporary Art Museum, the staircase leading to the second floor of the exhibition hall is also a port connecting the “virtual world”.
